Postgraduate: Dentistry


The Postgraduate Dental Program being offered by Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy is new and it combines a Master of Science in Dentistry and a clinical competency certificate in a dental specialty.

The program is designed to achieve the following in the candidates who register for the program:
  • Ability to give advance clinical dental care as a superior level.
  • Competence to design and conduct scientific research.
  • Ability to administer educational/clinical programs.
  • Commitment to lifelong continuing education during professional life.
The program is based in Riyadh College of Dentistry and Pharmacy and is managed by a competent interdisciplinary team of graduate faculty comprising health educators, clinicians, basic science teachers and researchers.

Core elements of the program are basic courses, biodental courses, general courses, specialty-specific clinical courses, scientific research methods and scientific writing.

Graduate faculty supervisors will assist and guide graduate students to achieve their professional growth during the course of the program. They will also advise the students in the selection of their research proposals which normally should culminate in a Thesis preparation and defense.

The Director of Graduate studies at Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy is responsible for the overall management of the program.
