Admission Procedures
Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy accepts new students at the beginning of each semester.
- Acceptance of students for the first semester starts at the time of the announcement of the general high school results and ends at a specific date each semester.
- Students who wish to be accepted at RCsDP must:
- Submit the completed application form to the Admission and Registration Department;
- Pay the non-refundable registration fee of 5,000 SR to the Colleges account;
- Take the entrance examinations ; and
- Go through an interview.
- Entrance examinations are administered every week. The examination includes the English Language test and the dexterity test (for dental applicants). The results are released in the week following the exam.
- All actions (submission of the documentary requirements, payment of tuition fees, medical examination, etc..) should have been completed by the end of the week following the announcement of acceptance; otherwise, the applicant will lose the right to be accepted/ admitted to RCsDP.
- First week of every semester is scheduled for orientation for the new students, where they are exposed to the rules, regulations, curriculum plan and etc...
Documentary Requirements
- The original high school certificate or its equivalent.
- An official declaration of the results of the General Capacity Test administered by the National Center for Measurement and Evaluation.
- An official declaration of the results of the achievement test from the National Center for Measurement and Evaluation.
- Certification of good conduct and behavior from previous school.
- Certificate of medical fitness.
- Copy of personal identification (ID card - the family ID card, residence card or passport for non- Saudis).
- Two (2) personal photos.
- Receipt of payments of (5,000) five thousand riyals in addition to the tuition fees.
Bridging Program for Diploma Degree Holders
Students with diploma degrees may be accepted in the bachelor's degree programs specialty for the same discipline according to the terms and conditions approved by the board of trustees.
Admission of students Transferring from other Colleges or Universities
Students transferring to RCsDP from other colleges or universities can submit official transcripts of records with the relevant descriptions of courses completed. This is for purposes of transfer of credits or courses equivalence.

The following are the requirements for admission:

- Updated Curricculum Vitae
- 4pcs. 4x6 photo with blue background
- A Bachelor's degree in Dentistry (e.g. BDS, DDS, DMD or equivalent obtained in a recognized national or international college/university
- Successful completion of 12-months of rotating internship in general dentistry
- Pass in a Test of English as a foreign language (TOEFL) with a computer-based total score of not less than 220
- Satisfactory performance in the competitive selection process administered by the Postgraduate Admission Committee of Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy
- A brief essay (not more than 300 words) by the candidate which relates the applicant career goals to the program goals
- Submission of a letter from the candidate's sponsor which clearly approves the candidate to be a full-time graduate student for the entire period (3 years) of the program
- Accreditation and Professional Registration ID (from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties)
- Three letters of recommendation, one of which must be from the direct supervisor (e.g. Department Chairman) of the candidate and the other two from consultants or senior dental staff with whom the candidate he/she worked. All the letters must confirm the suitability of the applicant for training in the chosen dental specialty. The following are the requirements for admission:

- Accredited bachelor of Dental Surgery degree (BDS) or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Successful completion of an internship year in general dentistry (12months).
- Passed the competitive selection examination process.
- Applicant must have valid certification of PALS (for pediatric applicant only)
- Provision of at least three confidential recommendation letters from three different consultants as to the suitability of the applicant for training in post-graduate program which must include one letter from the candidate's immediate supervisor.
- Letter of no objection from the applicant's sponsor indication that the applicant can be in a full time training program for the entire period of 4 years except SB-Orthodontics which is 5 years.
- Applicant should be registered in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a trainee.
- Applicants should pay the application and training fees.
- Signed obligation to abide by the rules and regulations of the training program.
- Passing of all required admission test.
