About the Deanship of Admission and Registration

 

The Deanship of Admission and Registration is one cornerstone at Riyadh Elm University REU, which provides effective and efficient services to all students via an advanced electronic gate, E-Gate. During His/Her academic years, The Deanship of Admission and Registration seeks to facilitate all obstacles that students may encounter. We in the Deanship of Admission and Registration aspire to recruit high qualified students whom recognized to be polite, diligent, and remarkable.

15% VAT tax is added for non-Saudi students. 

– The cumulative percentage of the General Aptitude and Academic Achievement tests (Qudrat and Tahsili) should not be less than (80%), distributed as following: 

o       30 % High School

o       30 % Qudrat

o       40 % Tahsili and the Tahsili test grade must not be less than 70.  

Transfer Student

1- The student should have been enrolled at a college or a university that is recognized by the Ministry of Education

2- The student must not be registered or dismissed for any disciplinary action, if proven otherwise, the student’s transfer will be cancelled

3- The student’s GPA must not be less than 3.75 out of 5 or 2.75 out of 4.

4- The number of units required for graduation after transferring should be a minimum of 60% of the program’s units.

5- Once the student enrolled in the system and accepted the equivalent courses, he/she can not re-apply for an equalization form. 

6- Courses with grades less than (70% = C), or ”Pass“ with no score are not qualified for equalization.

7- Paying nonrefundable equalization fees = 500 SAR.

1. A student of REU who plans to study as a visiting student in another university:
Policies:
– The university must be accredited and recognized by the Ministry of Education.
– The courses to be studied should be equivalent to the requirements of graduation in REU.
– The equated courses are encoded as (خ )on a visiting student‘s transcript, and it is not
counted in his/her GPA.
– Courses with grades less than (70% = C), or ”Pass“ with no score are not qualiIied for
equalization.
– The maximum total of the credit hours to be counted for a visiting student is 20% from
the total graduation credit hours in REU.
– The visiting student are allowed to study as a ”visitor“ for 2 semesters maximum.

Studying Procedures and Courses Equalization for a Visiting Student:
– The student should apply a request including courses descriptions to the Deanship of
Admission and Registration, asking to study in another university as a visitor.
– The Equalization Committee at the student‘s department/college will review the request
and inform the student whether it is accepted or rejected.
– Once the request is approved, REU‘s Deanship of Admission and Registration is going to
contact the Deanship of Admission and Registration of the other university.
– Once the student Iinish his/her courses as a visiting student, he/she is asked to provide a
copy of the results to REU‘s Deanship of Admission and Registration in 2 weeks maximum
from the beginning of the new semester.

2. A student from another university who plans to study as a visiting student in REU:
– The student should provide REU‘s Deanship of Admission and Registration with an
approval letter including courses titles from his/her college or university.
– Copy of the national ID/Iqama.
– Filling the application.

1- The applicant must have a Bachelor Dentistry degree from a recognized college/ university.

2- The applicant must have finished the internship requirements. 

3- The applicant must have scored the required grade in  one of the English language aptitude tests (TOEFL- IELTS -STEP).

4- The applicant must have a valid classification certificate from The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

5- The applicant must pass the personal interview and any other competitive tests. 

6- A letter of consent must be given from the employer if the applicant is an employee.

7- Paying nonrefundable registration fees.

9- Paying tuition fees.

15% VAT tax is added for non-Saudi students.

– Copy of a valid classification certificate from The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

– Copy of the national ID/Iqama.

– A supporting statement letter (less than 300 words) showing the objective and the previous  practical experience.   

Higher Diploma in Implant Dentistry

1- The applicant must have a Bachelor Dentistry degree from a recognized college/ university.

2- The applicant must have finished the internship requirements. 

3- The applicant must have scored the required grade in  one of the English language aptitude tests (TOEFL- IELTS -STEP).

4- The applicant must have a valid classification certificate from The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.

5- The applicant must pass the personal interview and any other competitive tests. 

6- A letter of consent must be given from the employer if the applicant is an employee.

7- Paying nonrefundable registration fees.

9- Paying tuition fees.

15% VAT tax is added for non-Saudi students.

Saudi Board

Applying for the Saudi Board is done through The Saudi Commission Health Specialties Office under their Admission policies with choosing REU as an accredited training center.  

 

 

Scholarship Programs

Is a Scholarship program offered by REU for students as a contribution to achieve the
Saudi Vision 2030.
“Mostaqbal” is designed for students to pay 50 % of the tuition fees during their academic
years, while the remnant 50 % can be paid after graduation as monthly payments.
Because REU cares about your future achievements and ambitions, REU provides
“Mostaqbal” Program for all the undergraduate programs in the university to help you
reach your dreams.

Is an educational fund provided by Suliman Al-Rajhi Foundation for Development Finance allows students to join their preferred specialties in the university with a payment period
that extends beyond graduation. The Fund provides loans with easy and Ilexible repayments for freshman or registered students at REU.
The fund is suitable for all Master and Bachelor programs, and for students who plan to join REU.

– The period of payment for the Iinancing installment for the Bachelor of Dentistry is 9 years, starting from the years of study until after graduation.
– The period of payment for the Iinancing installment for the other Bachelor programs is between 6-7 years, starting from the years of study until after graduation.
– The period of payment for the Iinancing installment for the Master programs is 4 years, starting from the years of study until after graduation.
